In your first session, we will discuss your reasons for seeking therapy and explore your goals. It's a chance for you to get to know your therapist and for your therapist to determine how they can best support you. Our sessions are relaxed, and you are invited to share at your own pace. If you are not sure where to start, don’t worry! We are trained to help people get comfortable and familiar with the process.
-
The length of therapy varies depending on your individual needs and goals. Some people may find a few sessions helpful, while others may benefit from longer-term therapy. We will work together and to co-create a plan that meets your needs.

An assessment may result in a diagnosis which in turn may help you understand your condition and can help inform further treatment planning or accessing of supports. We offer assessment services to answer a wide variety of referral questions and concerns.
